Mark Khan again showed that if you give him a nose, he will take half a length when getting the Woodruff-trained Olympic Storm (52.5) home after a tough duel with the Zaki inmate, Bennie and the Jets (55) at Newmarket over the 1800m trip.

For a brief moment, it appeared as if Striker might regain the lead with Bennie and the Jets.

This was win number two for Woodruff/Khan, who had struck in the second race with the seemingly useful Nossa Joia (Arg) over 1000m.
